A cycle superhighway is a cycle highway, where the commuters’ needs have been given the highest priority. The cycle superhighways of the Capitol Region is a coherent network of cycle highways which provides a safe, smooth ride with fewer stop and increased safety – offering an alternative to the car on distances of more than 5 kilometers.

Copenhagen Bicycle Account 2016

"Cykelregnskab" Every two years, the City of Copenhagen prepares a so-called bicycle account. Here it is made clear how it is possible to achieve the goals that have been decided in the bicycle strategy. The bicycle accounts have been published since 1995 and provide a good overview of what is happening to improvements for cyclists - and what can be done better.
