The 6th European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) will be held on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 June 2019 in Groningen, The Netherlands. Among the themes of the conference is providing support to sustainable and active cities within the SUMP context, i.e. how to make cities more walkable and cycle-friendly.

Groningen is also one of the leading cities in Europe for cycling, sitting alongside our Dutch Handshake partner city Amsterdam. Handshake partner ICLEI will also be in attendance.
